Loads of the red stuff and plenty of excessive nudity ticks all the slasher boxes.
Also features one of the funniest 'Look how great I am at my job' montages.
I love SNDN too and think its very under-rated.
Sure it dont have as much gore as Friday series but its still a fun ride.

The sequels were pretty awful. Especially the second one.

Yup I only seen 2nd, I heard 5th was dire so need to watch it

I saw a indie drama/horror last night that did pretty well in festivals last year. Its called Godspeed and its a pretty good lil movie. Plot is this faith healer cheats on his wife and while he is with this other woman his wife and son get murderd by 2 guys. Then he meets this gal who is the daughther of one of the healers "patients" and things go downhill.
There is a pretty disturbing pre rape scene that kinda made me go "wtf"

Check it out

Freakshow (2007)

Banned in 43 countries according to the DVD.

I thought it was ok, the graphic prolonged climatic mutilation has to be seen to be believed.

Britain not being among them. I wonder which 43 countries they were.

Some review sites say it should have read "Binned in 43 countries".

Yeah it's not that good but I did find it quite unusual and different to the horrors I usually watch. Another "hightlight" was the sight of the "freaks" swinging around in the circus with hooks placed through the skin of their backs. Just incredible that anyone could or would want to do this. Looks painful.

The hook impalement in Embodiment Of Evil always makes me wince.
