![]() Police Academy 3: Back In Training. 1986. The new governor announces the closure of a police academy school. Lassard gets the recruits back to train new ones and go against Commandant Mauser's school. The usual squad are back with Callahan, Blanks and Copeland returning with Mauser and Proctor being the competition with the committee taking notes. Zed who is reformed has joined up with his new room mate Sweetchuck. A bit of a throwback from the first one with the Falckner's having a argument about signing up and drivong with one of them on the bonnet of the car loosing a wheel cap. The laughs are far in few at the srart then Callahan makes a good remark about kissing ass and then rhe laughs start and Mauser making a remark about a new recruit and being the but of a joke as well as Proctor finding the Blue Oyster in the nude. images (5).jpg

![]() Police Academy 4: Citizens On Patrol. 1987. Commandant Lassard has a new programme that involves members of the public to volunteer with help of combating crime in the area. Captain Harris disproves of this and tries to find fault for the programme to fail. This I have a love/hate thing going with this movie, the makers brought back G.W. Bailey as Captain Harris and becomes the centre of jokes by Mahoney and one by Zed. At times it does look like Guttenberg is getting fed up and maybe why he decided to call it quits but Jones still provides the laughs but at least Callahan provides a good show in a t-shirt while in the pool. Zed and Sweetchuck return as the mismatch duo who seem to share some good screen time and give out some laughs. images (6).jpg

![]() Police Academy 5: Assignment Miami. 1988. Commandant Lassard is to be honoured at a police convention in Miami along the way a bag switch happens that has stolen diamonds in it. As it is a bit more focussed on Lassard we get a lot more screen time with George Gaynes instead of a small role so that is a bonus. Having Matt McCoy and Janet Jones making a appearance from when the recruits land in Miami is a bit of a step up although Matt stays on for the next installment the laughs do come a bit more and Harris being the dork of a joke and Jones repeating the horse gag again. Rene Auberjonois makes a decent criminal who tries every possible way to get his stolen merchandise back with two bungling helpers. 51hmAK2R91L._SY445_.jpg
