Yeah. The thing that makes it so harrowing for me is that it's all done in one take and you can really see the deterioration of his face with every impact. I haven't watched Irriversible for years actually, might watch it this weekend.

Yeah the club scene fight is nasty and if you got the CE Tartan DVD you can see the effects extra where they show u how they used CGI and practical effects to make the fire extinguisher bashing more realistic.

Some people got into a right frenzy sayin Noe is homophobic cause in the "gay club" scene when the fight happens no one in the club tries to stop it and how the guy that rapes her is bi. I just laughed at the stupidity of that person as Noe himself is bi and there are plenty of straight people that would not try and stop a fight.

Last night watched

Devil

Found it quite interesting ... although plot holes and cliched characters galore. Some good jump moments though.

Oh and who the heck was the guy who threw himself through the window!?

Do you mean the actor or just "What was the point of that?" If it's the latter then he was just there to signify the Devil starting his work - at the beginning they say something like how the Devil announces his prescence with a suicide.

Yeah Paul, but don't you think it was all a bit silly how everything was being explained to us as it went along? I really thought that the "suicide" was going to have some bearing on the characters in the lift. Never mind, I was being a little over-expectant! After all, it was Shamalayamanalyaman who wrote it!

Yeah, I know what you mean. The narration was a tad heavy-handed at times and some of the security guard's lines came off as a bit laughable. Overall though I thought it was pretty good for what was essentially an overlong Twilight Zone-type episode.

Watched Trancers last night that i'd Sky+ off Movies4Men. Even had the original Vestron Video logo & jingle at the beginning. Brilliant!
