To celebrate Easter I sat on my arse and have had a massive filmfest, which contained (not in order) The Hills Have Eyes (original), Lake Mungo, Re-Animator, EdTV, Near Dark, Inferno, The Blob (remake), When A Stranger Calls (remake) and April Fool's Day (original)...

PHEW!

I watched Mindwarp last night. For all it's inadequacies there's some good ideas here. The ending was pretty crap though. Angus Scrimm is great and Bruce Campbell is always a joy to watch.

I finished the extra features on Les Diaboliques last night, finished my review which is now up on my website. It's an excellent release of a superb film -- highly recommended.

Just watched The Chilling (1989),I'd recommend avoiding this one.
About 1/4 was ok,the other 3/4 were plain bad and boring,I even wanted to stop the disc...

Great review Nos.

I'm still waiting for my copy to be shipped from Amazon (even though the release date is supposed to be Monday)

From Beyond is great. Stuart Gordon is the most consistently good horror director. I haven't seen one film of his that isn't entertaining.

Watched Tales from the Crypt (1972) last night. Never bettered.
