For some strange reason I always though Plague of the Zombies was going to be a ram-shackle effort with dodgy everything, like an episode of Crossroads with Zombies.

How wrong was I! Im pretty ashamed of myself for leaving it this long without seeing this, the last moments with the mine attack and brilliant. As is the amazing first appaerence of a zombie screaming then dropping the corpse.

So far im two out of two for great movies today. Just need to select whats next

Bloody Moon and The Diabolical Dr Z are definitely worth a watch. Eugenie is also very good; one of the better Marquis de Sade adaptations. Many of Franco's films are an 'acquired taste' though.

I also like The Mansion of the Living Dead, but I'm probably in the minority on that one!

No you are not alone, i have the 2 Anchor Bay Franco box sets, even though one or two of the films are cut, i like most of them. Mansion is a highlight, its like a soft porn Blind Dead film.

You can never go wrong with a soft porn Blind Dead film.

I received Bloody Moon in the mail this morning, so it's now on my 'to watch' list.

So the graphic cover is suitably violent?
