It's great. Cheesy and badly dubbed but great. And what a theme song it has!

Just watched Justice League & loved it! Solid action packed movie, funny & dramatic, likeable characters. I know we're being swamped with comic book movies and everyone wants the next Deadpool/Guardians/Wonder Woman, but let's just be grateful we even have these movies, I never would have imagined half these characters being brought to the screen when I was a kid!

Ignore the haters, grab some popcorn & engage your inner 10 year old!

When it was being made, it had the working title of 'Creeps' or 'Creepers', but other than that, it was released as 'Bloody Birthday'

Dead & Breakfast (2004)

Six friends on their way to a wedding end up at a B&B in the sleepy town of Lovelock (Or Lovecock as they lovingly christen it) run by David Carradine. As the night draws in odd events occur beginning with the mysterious death of Carradine.

Dead and Breakfast can only be described as a horror, comedy, country and western musical. On the whole it's a lot of fun. Boasting a great cast including the aforementioned David Carradine, Jeremy Sisto and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and a lot of well done gore sequences amidst the zombie style chaos.

My only grumbles are the frequent comic strip interludes and the many country and western left turns as we are treated to yee haws aplenty, albeit with some delightfully witty lyrics courtesy of Zach Selwyn and his band. Whilst these don't exactly spoil the film they play havoc with it's pacing and any sense of tension quickly evaporates, but as far as gory mayhem goes this hits the spot.

Also valid choice, lol! Am going to revisit Indiana Jones movies shortly, along with Short Circuit & Flight of the Navigator! I seriously miss that decade!
Watched Gremlins again recently, it's even better as an adult as you can see more dark humour & how very grim and funny it is!

RECOMMENDED to the 3 people who haven't seen it yet.
I watched it very recently after not seeing it for many years, not since I owned the 4-Front VHS (pictured below) in the 90s and it was like seeing it for the first time on Arrow's Blu, and as someone who's seen a few films since and knows a bit more. Grim, but bloody brilliant. Unsettling from the first scene.

I'd also recommend the first Lady Snowblood and 13 Assassins as films that are similar. Both are very good and are available on UK blu-ray.

I echo those recommendations and would add the Hanzo the Razor trilogy, which stars Shintaro Katsu in the title role – the Eureka boxset is very good.
