Cheers Reaps. I actually had a look to see if 'Road Games' had been released as part of the same set, it's a shame they didn't include it. I Forgot to look for 'Patrick'. They're a really nice looking set, think I'm gonna pick them up off amazon later this week.

Watched an aussie double bill last night, first up was STONE,which was entertaining enough and has a good transfer. After that I watched LONG WEEKEND again-superb atmosphere, the sense of isolation and foreboding is amazing.....
STONE is fun spotting all the faces who later played parts in MAD MAX.....

Mate, all joking aside, I have yet to see a good Aussie film and I never expect to. Honestly, its at the point now were I now wouldn't watch a film made in Oz.

No offense meant, and this is my personal opinion and not meant to offend anyone, but Australia cant make films.

Turkey Shoot is available in one of two Ozploitation box sets courtesy of Umbrella. You can get them from CDWow for £25 each though like mark meakin alluded to elsewhere, CDWow are very slow at getting R4 DVDs out to you. I'm currently waiting on THE ASPHYX and SEX AND FURY.

Volume 1 has; Night Of Fear/Inn Of The Damned, Turkey Shoot, Road Games, Harlequin, Adventures Of Barry McKenzie, The Naked Bunyip.

Volume 2 has; Long Weekend, The Chain Reaction, Razorback, Stone, Fantasm/Fantasm Comes Again, The True Story Of Eskimo Nell.

Both will be bought by me when I have some spare funds.

And Vips how could you say such a thing? Australia has produced some real classics!

Walkabout is an absolute classic. Chant Of Jimmie Blacksmith, Storm Boy, Winter Of Our Dreams, Long Weekend, Mad Dog, The Last Wave and The Odd Angry Shot are all well worth checking out.

I'm not a fan of Wolf Creek but for those who haven't seen it it's on C4 Thursday night (8th).

I liked Strange Behaviour and Romper Stomper, though I went for Walkabout in the end. Despite the wince-enducing killing of the kangaroo the film is gorgeous to look at. As is Jenny Agutter.

I also recommend Mad Dog (starring a rampant Dennis Hopper), Storm Boy (starring a pelican called Mr Percival) and the intriguing The Last Wave.
I loved "Mad Dog", haven't seen it in years though, what about "Chopper"?
