I think most people are the same.
When you reach your mid thirties you still keep your friends, but you don't see them as much , at least in my case ,as when you went out every Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week for 10 years +.

It turns into one night out every 2/3 months. You spend the time with families or watching films, football, etc.
I tend to keep in touch with folks via e-mail, rather than face to face.
Plus the price of a night out is horrendous, you could spend the money on 10 nice shiny discs. - Damn those shiny plastic discs.

Me too, my daily life is spent with my g/f at home but we do keep ourselves productive at the weekend and see friends and family.
Some people may think I'm sad for just buying DVD's and Blu-rays but I think they're more sad for spending 4 times as much on alcohol and going out clubbing. Don't get much from that other than a hangover and that's really not my cup of tea.

I currently have all my DVD's and Blu-rays in boxes in the cellar, hopefully we'll be moving soon and I can get them all out and onto shelves. Can anyone recommend some cheap good bookcases/shelving to store DVD's? Once up I can start posting pictures on this thread

Yeah, my mad partying days are over - now I can concentrate more on my beloved hobby of watching and collecting films. I only started seriously collecting DVDs in 2007, so the majority of my collection has been built up in a pretty short amount of time.

It's a hobby that doesn't leave much time for anything else. But who needs friends when you have zombies?

i go out maybe once or twice a year with work but i don't drink so most of my money goes on dvds and unfortunately cigarettes.

Ant as for book shelves...Ikea is pretty good but i tend to buy these...

Buy Maine Tall Wide Beech Effect Bookcase at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for Bookcases and shelving.
