so i noticed Exterminator II is out on dvd and bluray in UK
this is the uncut version.

when this movie was playing at the cinema and later reliesed on vhs in UK it was the softed US R-rated version which was further censored in UK.

the new version is 89 minutes.
wudd this be the same R-rated version or the full uncut european gory version?
I have the german dvd which is the same as R-rated version, this dvd was a let down!

please let me know if this is the gory full uncut european cut?

Curious about this Hammer pack from Final Cut. Including Kiss Of The Vampire, The Curse Of The Werewolf, Brides Of Dracula and Captain Clegg. The movies any good? The individual titles seem to be holding their prices, so £29.99 seems a decent enough price. Bizarrely I've never been much of a Hammer fan, but revisiting some titles recently I'm appreciating them more, perhaps I've grown into them.

Bronx ratnik, I have that new Exterminator 2 blu-ray from 101 Films, and it lists Full Uncut version on the cover. I've never seen the film before though, so wouldn't be able to verify that.

Brides of Dracula and Captain Clegg are top tier Hammer for me. The other two whilst not quite as good are still very enjoyable.

As for not liking Hammer? Baka, you've let yourself down and the forum, in fact when you step outside and you sense people are watching you it's because they are.

Out of the trailers Captain Clegg was the one that struck me most. Those glow in the dark suits looked cool. I'm a sucker for villainous horse riding ever since I saw the Blind Dead films. I notice Final Cut are putting out Freddie Francis' Nightmare on blu-ray. I wonder if I should wait and see if they quad-pack that. I've been tempted to pick up their Phantom Of The Opera release for a while.

I don't know why I've never been a bigger fan of Hammer. For some reason Italian Gothic always clicked with me more than English Gothic.

Be off with you. Hammer started the Gothic cinema years, the Italians as usual just ripped everyone off.

When you say Phantom of the Opera do you mean Hammer's version? If you do i class that as one of their lesser films. Quite dull in fact.

Italian's do it better. Major feels.

I assume it's a Hammer one, it's the one Terrence Fisher directed where the production they put on is about Joan Of Arc. I've always enjoyed it, even if it's not as highly regarded as some of the others.

Brides is good. I'm not overly enamoured with Curse of the Werewolf, not seen the others but that's a decent price so I'll be picking that set up.
