So it's more money to add more films into my collection, or less money for an experience.

What would you all do?
Buy the set, think someone like this is better watched in the comfort of your own home .

40% was the minimum. The rest of us understood it.

By the way, I bought myself a second litre of Label 5 today.

Anyway I'm decided that come Friday I'll order the DVDs and watch them at home with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie
Not wishing to derail the thread, but I saw someone on Twitter today, in response to a Breitbart story about Muslims finding the nativity scene offensive, saying "It's like Christmas pies […] lefty liberal EU forcing us to call them "mince pies".

I hadn't heard the term "Christmas pies" before.

Hasn't it been called Mince Meat since the middle ages? I'm pretty sure that it's been at least 400 years I've never heard of a Christmas Pie either, some people are just desperate to blame liberals for everything.

They've always been called mince pies up here. It's certainly not a lefty Liberal EU thing.

Perhaps it depends where in the UK you are from but they've been called mince pies in my family since before the EU was a glint in the.... you get the idea.

From the Wikipedia page "Mince pie":

"The early mince pie was known by several names, including "mutton pie, "shrid pie" and "Christmas pie". Typically its ingredients were a mixture of minced meat, suet, a range of fruits, and spices such as cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Served around Christmas, the savoury Christmas pie (as it became known) was associated with supposed Catholic "idolatry" and during the English Civil War was frowned on by the Puritan authorities. Nevertheless, the tradition of eating Christmas pie in December continued through to the Victorian era, although by then its recipe had become sweeter and its size markedly reduced from the large oblong shape once observed. Today, the mince pie remains a popular Christmas sweet in Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, New England, and other parts of Anglophone world."

I heard on the radio news about food and drinks prices likely to significantly rise in the next couple of years and immediately thought about stockpiling more booze!
