I saw Don't Breathe at the cinema and I thought it was really good. It got some remarks about misogyny, but most horror films do, I don't think it was any worse than anything else.

It's gripping, and quite scary, and I like a film where the majority of the action takes place in one location, in this case a locked house.

Don't Breathe was one of the best horrors I watched last year, a welcome surprise considering most of the recent horror films that everyone raved about, I thought were terrible

Don't Breathe doesn't reinvent the wheel or anything but it's definitely worth watching, I'm not sure whether I'd watch it again though. It isn't overly violent, but some of the material is stomach churning in a different way, not quite sure how the BBFC passed it as a 15.

Jane Levy is fantastic in it, looking forward to seeing her in Twin Peaks.

Anyone seen The Wailing? It's up for pre-order and looks quite good. Korean, i think, so not sure whether it got a cinema release over here or not.

To be fair to you, it was only commented on for two days so if you weren't around those two days there's every chance you'd miss it.

I wonder if Treb bought Don't Breathe anyway? After requesting opinions, moaning that he never got any, and then not responding to the 4-5 people who did see it and enjoyed it
