Does anyone have the Arrow Academy 'Four Film Noir Classics' ??

It's currently reduced to £20 on Amazon and wondered if it's worth a go.

I have Secret Beyond the Door on an Exposure Cinema dvd and can say that it's good. It's slightly surreal and is as much an old dark house Gothic melodrama as it is...no forget that. It's not even Noir in the classic sense. It's a psychological thriller ala Rebecca and is pretty much a Fritz Lang take on the Bluebeard story.

I haven't seen the others.

I can't answer your question, but seeing as the copy on the Arrow site is currently going for £50, I would say buy it!

I guess it's worth a go, but considering these are supposed to be classics, you think I'd have seen some of them lol.

If anyone else is considering it, there are only around 10 copies left.

I did consider it but the quality of the Secret Beyond the Door dvd is excellent anyway so having seen a dvd episode of The Professionals on the new tv last night and how gorgeous it looked i don't think i've any need to upgrade it.
