According to IMDb it’s in post production so it’s finished filming. I wonder if it’s going straight to streaming services?

I’ll be honest, I didn’t even know this was a thing until a moment ago!

There was rumours circulating about that it may go straight to a streaming service, it was due to be released in the states April 2023, and in U.K September 9th, then pushed to 23rd.

Nice to see Ti West's new film Pearl doing well taking $3.12 million in it's opening weekend.

It tells the origin story of the villain from X.

Whilst $3.12m is nothing when it comes to stuff like the MCU it's very good when you consider it was filmed secretly immediately after X.

X itself only cost $1m and it was very successful making just under $15m worldwide. So it's estimated Pearl cost next to nothing in modern cinema terms.

I really like and highly rate the Dawn/Rise/War Trilogy and am interested to see what this is about, whether it's a new story or whether it follows on from War for the Planet of the Apes and is about Blue Eyes, Caesar's elder son.

I had no high hope for Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes thanks to Tim Burton's remake but was pleasantly surprised how good it was and enjoyed the sequels think this new one follows on from War Of The Planet Of The Apes, i'm very much intrigued

Nosferatu’ – Robert Eggers Remake Returns to Life with Bill Skarsgård and Lily-Rose Depp.
For the past few years, Robert Eggers has been planning to direct a new take on Nosferatu starring Anya Taylor-Joy, and it looks like that project is finally coming to life
