I haven't got Wind Chill and I can't stream it, I'm trying to not buy anything for marathon as I'm about to move house. I might stick with Creep, I can watch it near to the beginning of the month so I don't lose momentum if it's rubbish

Also, Emily Blunt. What's not to like!

For those avid streamers among you, you might find this website useful (I do). Pop in the name of a film and it tells you where online you can watch it, either via a subscription or where it can be purchased (such as Google movies or Apple iTunes etc). there is also an app version for the smartphone owners out there...

The thing is it's all subjective.

Justin, you may well love Creep. Like you say, perhaps watch it early as it does seem to be divisive. People either like it or loathe it.

Addams Family Values is on it’s way from America but that’s my pile sorted, the rest are for streaming.

Well, i've been persuaded to plan out the month, so below is my list. To be honest, i've seen most of them before - those i either haven't seen, or not seen in the format i'll be watching are marked with an asterix. I wanted a proper daddy slasher for halloween, so went with the template.

October Horror List

I'll probably have to change the dates around actual social activities and stuff so may end up watching a couple on the same night to catch up.

1st – The Haunting*
2nd – Tower of Evil*
3rd – Dance of the Dead
4th – Phenomena
5th – Five Dolls for an August Moon
6th – Under the Shadow
7th – Versus*
8th – Blood on Satan's Claw
9th – The Babadook
10th – Housebound
11th – Doomsday
12th – Dracula has Risen from the Grave
13th – Suspiria
14th – Infestation
15th – Outpost
16th – Vampyros Lesbos*
17th – Lisa and the Devil
18th – The Blood Spattered Bride
19th – Evil Dead II
20th – Asylum*
21st – Q – The Winged Serpent
22nd – The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920)*
23rd – Spare Parts*
24th – Night Train to Terror baby!
25th – Plague of the Zombies
26th – The Return of Count Yorga*
26th – Tucker and Dale vs Evil
27th – The Grudge (Geller)
28th – The Devil Rides Out
29th – The Hole (Joe Dante)
30th – Triangle
31st – A Bay of Blood

Troll 1986. (John Carl Buechler).

A family move into a new apartment complex unaware a Troll king is looking to make his new kingdom within the flats and a witch plans on shopping him.

Aside from being like a comedy horror fantasy film it's always funny seeing Sonny Bono getting turned into a plant and a few tongue in cheek jokes on Phil Fondacaro character Malcolm being Wendy's (Jenny Beck) little friend. Michael Moriarty plays Harry Potter Snr ( not the J.K Rowling Harry Potter) it can be assumed she did use the film for inspiration and Noah Hathaway ( The Never-ending Story) as the hero Harry Potter Jnr. Still a laugh even the trolls have their own song.

Dolls 1987.

A group of people become stranded in the middle of nowhere during a storm and take shelter in a mansion owned by a toy maker and his wife.

From producers Brian Yuzna and Charles Band comes this little horror of toys directed by Stuart Gordon. This isn't edge of your seat run of the mill but does have it's entertaining moments and laughable effects. Guy Rolfe (Puppet Master III) plays the happy Toy maker and his wife Hilary ( Hilary Hartwicke, Don't Look Now) seem to the reclusive friendly odd couple. Caroline Purdy-Gordon ( From Beyond) plays the evil wicked Step-mother to Judy (Carrie Lorraine) and Stephen Lee (Robocop 2) as the big child and hero.

The film may have it's moments of looking stupid and partially see the strings of the dolls but no CGI Effects were created and only stop motion was available but never let that put you off, it's not a gem but 70 minutes of enjoyment is better than nothing.
