Last night I watched quite possibly the greatest film off all time. Ok, maybe not. But it was hillariously bad. Yep, I watched Shriek Of The Mutilated!

It was so terrible - EVERYTHING was pure unintentional comedy gold. From the terrible acting, the vomit-inducing decor, the terrible Bigfoot costume, the 'twist' ending, the list just keeps on going. Everyone should check this out for a great so-bad-its-good film. I have to find out what month it came out because it has some very strong similarities to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, both of which were released in '74. Anyone else seen this? Opinions?

Check out this - http://www.cryptomundo.com/bigfoot-report/overnight-am-bigfoot/ - it's a radio interview in which a guy claims a family of sasquatch have been visiting his backyard for three weeks. The guy keeps saying how he can see them as he speaks! It's amazing. If this is true, then the mystery of the yeti has been solved.

I have to say that the Bigfoot genre is not one that I've dipped my...big toe in (groan!

). I think I may have seen the Legand of Bigfoot. Has that got a scene in it where someone is searching for someone, along with the police and they fall onto the remains of a victim?

i've been far more fascinated with the legend of the Wendigo; something Wolverine comic book fans will be more than familiar. There has been at least one movie based on it, but I've only ever seen them within comic books and in a different guise in the TV series Supernatural.

Wendigo thats from my parts.The weird thing about the Wendigo is there are two very different versions of what a Wendigo is.

Ok, I know of one; An Native American/Canadian legend that if you find yourself in the middle of a desolated piece of country and feed on human flesh to sustain yourself, you turn into the Wendigo. I don't know of another, but I suppose if I googled it, I'd find out?

Yeah i always heard about the ever hungry spirt,similar to the one you mentioned then theres a animal spirit version that seemed to come out of nowhere.Much like the Sasaquatch there seems to be different versions of things just so other people can try to make claims of a sighting or whatever.

An amazing film, Michael and Roberta Findlay are completely out of whack with what passes for film and have entered a realm all of their own with their cinematic vision. I guess most people know them for SNUFF but the jewel in the crown of their madness is THE FLESH TRILOGY (The Touch of Her Flesh, The Curse of Her Flesh and The Kiss of Her Flesh), a heady mix of non-acting, go go dancing women with big arses and bigger knickers and a deranged serial killer who kills in the most inventive ways. My favourite kill is when the murderer takes a poison that does not harm him but is stored in his semen and becomes active during oral sex

All three films can be picked up cheap on Something Weird Video.

Thanks for the info MTDS, I'll have to check out his sexploitation films - sounds great. If they're as bad as this they should be entertaining to say the least.

Last night I watched Harry And The Hendersons for the first time in YEARS. Luckily it never scared me beyond belief this time round

Easily the best Bigfoot film (if you're not after horror) with a narrative very similar to E.T., The Iron Giant and Honey! I Blew Up The Baby!. Rick's Harry is still to this day phenomenal.

Speaking of Harry, does anyone remember the Harry And The Hendersons TV show? I can only find clips on YouTube and it doesn't seem to have been released on dvd.
