If you are interested in the mythology of snuff and related films, then this book is indispensable. Buy a used copy though....not a new one!
Killing for Culture: An Illustrated History of Death Film from Mondo to Snuff Creation Cinema: Amazon.co.uk: David Kerekes, David Slater: Books

Edit; Hmm, the link doesn't want to play so just search Killing for Culture by Kerekes and Slater.
