I watched that SadoMaster Ashton, with decent effects that would have been quite a nasty wee film.

I still think the acted violent scenes in Snuff 102 are quite sick , as is the real animal and internet footage.
The monkey scene is truley disturbing.
It is a good film though in the way it approaches the idea of snuff , and definetly makes you think.

How about Schramm, In a Glass Cage, or Angst (I only like the latter though). I don't know the films you mentioned, so not sure how they compare on the nasty scale . . . ?

Well Mordem is the vilest thing i've ever seen, Serbian film (uncut) is up there to.

For my money though I still love the oldschool stuff from the video recordings act. The BEYOND, ZOMBIE FLASH-EATERS, ANTHROPOPHAGUS, ABSURD, SS EXPERIMENT CAMP, CANNIBAL FEROX (if you get this get the grindhouse one as well, sure the AWE release looks a little better, but the grindhouse disc is much better) I DRINK YOUR BLOOD (grindhouse disc again!) CALIGULA THE UNTOLD STORY, CANNIBAL APOCALYPSE, TENEBRAE, I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE, LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT, BAY OF BLOOD....well there's a lot of stuff out there, it was the golden age of extreme cinema IMO.

Also Arrow are sticking out COMBAT SHOCK (though I don't know how it'll compare to the 2-disc tromasterpieces collection version) the most bleak and nihilistic movie ever made.

I would also reccomend STREET TRASH to anyone.

im talking about films that are controversial ..

Personaly id rather watch a controversial film like Human centipede than some film than thats rubbish and controversial because of the amount of gore it contains.
For simple reason i find now that a lot of films underground and commercial films rely heavily gory violence or how sick they are and sometimes i just feel that films have got to the stage where they are just trying to outdo each other and see who can come up with the sickest scene or most gore etc. even commercial films are going that way like saw for eg personaly im getting sick of it,
I like a film to try new boundries without relying to heavily on the above..
Where films like Human centipede realy fits in new boundries catagory its what the story line about is the main controversail part and how its potrade and just wish there where more like this about, after all the violence there more in die hard and films like that, Gore seen more gore in a 15...
Havent seen second one yet to make a comment.
