Cushing: better presence, more versatile, one of my favourite actors. He also utters one of my very favourite lines in all cinema:

"Gentlemen, if you will incline your heads slightly to the right you will see a door. Please use it."

I love Chris Lee, don't get me wrong, but I rate and adore Cushing very, very highly.

Lee has actually started to look old these past 2 or 3 years actually.

He seemed packed with stately health in "Star Wars" and "LOTR", not like his age at all. But now I see he's looking and sounding his age.

Shame Cushing never got one. A great and lovely man.

Totally agree.
Hammer won a Queen's award for industry, didn't it?
Puzzling why it's main protagonists Cushing,Lee,Fisher,Hermann et al weren't honoured.....
(Before now that is!)

Apparently he's the Jabberwock (or possibly its voice) in Tim Burton's new Alice In Wonderland.

I rewatched the video of A Feast At Midnight recently and it really is a terrific film.
