STRANGLERS OF BOMBAY is a great film, quite an unusual Hammer outing. SWORD OF SHERWOOD was ok if a little mundane. SPACEWAYS I've never heard of!

I have the same as Dave except Night of the Big Heat, Island of Terror and Spaceways which i have never seen.

I'm going to have to pick up the first two second hand as i don't think they are going to see the light of day again anytime soon.

The worst Fisher i've seen is Phantom of the Opera - Boring.

SPACEWAYS (1953) is a murder mystery. A rocket scientist is accused of killing his wife and her lover and sending their bodies off on an unmanned rocketship. As the ship is going to be in orbit for years, he sets out for space himself to clear his name......

Rather talkie and more earthbound than spacebound but this is an Exclusive/Hammer Film so for me gets a thumbs up.

If i remember rightly Spaceways was released by DD Entertainment when they put out Monster From Hell along with a couple of Hammer motor racing thrillers or something on those lines.

That's right. Among the dvd's they released were two other Terence Fisher films The Four Sided Triangle and Stolen Face. I have not seen either of those yet but I believe that Stolen Face is an extra film on The Mummy Blu Ray. I must get round to getting that

I knew there was a motor racing film directed by Fisher in the same series.
