Lifeforce, Texas Chainsaw Massacre II and Invaders From Mars. I wrote about them a few years ago on my blog and lazily lumped 'em together as the Cannon Trilogy...

Who? Kevin Smith? I've never heard of them! I guess someone who's smoked as much as him and portrayed characters smoking to the extent he has in his films, that would seem like a logical step!

I really like Smith - he gets a lot of stick online but he never bigs himself up, he's quite outspoken about his pratfalls and limitations. I really like him and have enjoyed all of his films to an extent. Yep, even JERSEY GIRL.

I lost a lot of respect for him when he was bitching about the critics giving him bad reviews for Cop Out. He seemed to feel disgruntled that they got to see his film for free and didn't like it. He came across as a petty little child.

I didn't think it was that bad, it's textbook definition of mediocrity but its not the terrible film bit was made out to be.

Apart from the mediocre script, Tracy Morgan really grates in this film. I like him in 30 Rock though.

The script was on the Blacklist (Hollywood's list of top unmade scripts) for a couple of years - it was supposed to be awesome - it clear that something was lost in translation, probably due to Willis's behaviour during filming.
