With the FA being respectful to Spurs and waiting a while before approaching Harry, how come Levy hasn't offered him a fat new contract to make him stay put. Does Levy think Harry has taken Spurs as far as he can???

You have probably just given Arsenal the confidence to go and put 5 past Milan, then go and win the bloody Champions League.

Spurs had put them in their place, all nice and subdued, and out of the top four, then this. Idiots!

    Thanks Blob.

I'm just chuffed we won. A very entertaining game and Cardiff deserve a lot of credit, i hope to see them in the PL next season.

When it comes down to the final itself, any final that is, form goes out the window and you just hope to win, ask any Arsenal fan. (not that you would wish to speak to one today).

Nothing worse than getting spanked by your local rivals. I think if Everton lost 5-2 to Liverpool I'd probably hang myself!

You'll rape them in the replay

(Rape is a strong word but you slaughter PL teams at home so I worry for Stevenage!)

    And yes, Arsenal are shit

Arsenal's next games are Spurs, Liverpool, Newcastle and Everton. They may not win again till April.

They will probably get a nil nil at Anfield i suppose.

I can sense your sorrow at the plight of your north London neighbours.

So here we are, on to the second review in my '30s/'40s retrospective and still no mention of Universal Studios!

Based on a short story by Richard Connell, which I'll freely confess to having never read, while on a boat trip through potentially dangerous waters, a group of friends including famous big game hunter Robert Rainsford (Joel McCrae) are busy discussing recent exploits

No retrospective of the classics of the '30's and '40's would be complete without a mention of Dwain Esper's 'Maniac'. Esper is a legend in what can be termed as the 'Educational' movie. In actual fact, he was just a master at cheap exploitation, preying on people's paranoia of drugs, sex and whatever else he could potentially make a bit of cash from. You can achieve a small insight into the...

Welcome all to the blob's den. As i've mentioned before, I'm a huge fan of early talking horror, especially from the 1930's and 1940's. Yes, a lot of it is tame by anywhere near modern standards but these movies laid the ground for much of what was to come. You'll find the first ever official zombie movie, countless vampires, mad experiments, gothic tales and even some bona-fide pure exploitation. Some are so steeped in atmosphere that they still have the power to scare or at least send the odd...
