Currently reading this book, despite not being a big fan of the music, I am interested in the whole church burning/Varg Vikernes saga (BTW, his videos on YouTube under the Thulean Perspective name are interesting ) and this book is pretty good so far

I bought the first edition of this back in the 90s and then lost it I bought it again this January actually, I was planning on reading it next.

It's not a bad read, but it does feel like the author tries to get the people he's interviewing to say something controversial a la Bill Grundy/Sex Pistols for shock value

It's being made into a Hollywood film, I think it has Alexander Skarsgard in it, I can't remember though. Everyone in the Norway scene have turned the producers down for likeness and names etc - god only knows what it's going to be like. I'll watch it though.

Edit:: No, I was thinking of Rory Culkin. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4669296/?ref_=nv_sr_1 It seems like they've used all the names anyway, I suppose it's public domain once it's been in the news.

Hah I just noticed the guy filming it on the camcorder is Metallion who run a famous black metal fanzine called Slayer Mag.
