Iran and Iraq have some Black Metal bands. Its crazy really because some of these countries there is a risk of death if they are discovered.

Blimey and there aren't even any churches to burn down, it's shit all round there. I know that metal in general was banned in Cuba at one time with people having their electricity turned off in their homes if found playing. Slightly off topic but in either Burma or a close by country, they have camps to de- punk kids where they shave their Mohawks off and 're-educate' them.
