Lemmy and now Bowie When it comes to Heaven, regardless of your religion belief, to quote Stephen King: 'You know, they got a hell of a band'

And a worthy pair of additions both are! Funny that-I watched 'Hell of a band' on Nightmares and Dreamscapes a few weeks ago....

I always respected him as the artist and the person he was, it took me long until I discovered his music, but when he released The Next Day, I started to get into his music more and more, especially the early stuff and Blackstar blew my mind when I bought it and immediately listenjed to it last Saturday. Then I had my breakfast at the laptop Monday morning and some dull breakfast TV host babbled something about Blackstar and Bowie, but since I know them for not being too musically reliable, I let it rush through my head unnoticed untiol he ended with "rest in peace David!" and I was like WTF and had to confirm this shocking piece of news... What a loss, but also what a great way to give his thank you to all his fans in form of the last album - Thank you, David! PS: I absolutely love his performance as Tesla in The Prestige, for me one of Nolan's best films...

How perfect is this tweet? Bowie was a legend, an inspiration to a generation of musicians, the Goblin King to 80's kids, and his latest album Blackstar was a truly great parting gift to his legion of fans. It's hard to believe he's gone. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1452646806.516711.jpg

I can't find it, but I saw a tweet which said something like this: "People often describe David Bowie as a chameleon, but they change according to their surroundings. He changed his surroundings."
