I always respected him as the artist and the person he was, it took me long until I discovered his music, but when he released The Next Day, I started to get into his music more and more, especially the early stuff and Blackstar blew my mind when I bought it and immediately listenjed to it last Saturday. Then I had my breakfast at the laptop Monday morning and some dull breakfast TV host babbled something about Blackstar and Bowie, but since I know them for not being too musically reliable, I let it rush through my head unnoticed untiol he ended with "rest in peace David!" and I was like WTF and had to confirm this shocking piece of news... What a loss, but also what a great way to give his thank you to all his fans in form of the last album - Thank you, David! PS: I absolutely love his performance as Tesla in The Prestige, for me one of Nolan's best films... Nosferatu@Cult Labs and keirarts like this.
