Went to a boot fair today and got quite a few awesome things. One of which was this amazing cd. Budgie's Budgie. For fan's of early Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin check these out, if you haven't already, you may like them. With song titles such as 'Rape Of The Locks' and 'Nude Disintegrating Parachutist Woman' how can you not like them?

They certainly don't mbv. Budgie have quite a few great covers. Mind you I'd say modern cd artwork is often better than film artwork compared to older stuff. I mean take a look at how awesome the Cannibal Corpse cd covers are. I'm tempted to buy some of their stuff just for the cover even if I really don't like their music. Heck, maybe it'll grow on me

I really must get around to buying that recent Goblin best of CD.

Strangley enough, I've been listening to some John Carpenter themes this week. I love thoses early synth ones.

I was very fortunate to attend the Supersonic Festival in Birmingham last year & witnessed the reformed classic Goblin line-up (minus Claudio Simonetti) perform live. They were absolutely superb, highlight for me was when they performed "Suspiria" from Suspiria. Top stuff!!

Just ordered Glenn Tipton's Baptizm of Fire It's his 'solo' cd during the Judas Priest limbo after Halford left. I've never heard of it before, but if this one song from it is anything to go by, I'm in for one hell of a treat...
