David Bowie - I've Been Waiting For You

Heathen is one of Bowie's great unsung albums. Love this version of the Neil Young track. Dave Grohl adds a wonderful guitar track to it.

Anathema is one of my favourite bands Nordy, I'm obviously a little biased because since they're scousers

Angelica was a turning point for them as well

More specifically, Farrokh Bulsara was born that day – Freddie Mercury appeared a bit later!

But Dahling - he has always been Freddie!

My favourite Freddie story is from the time Queen were recording the 'News Of The World' album, and The Sex Pistols were recording the 'Never Mind The Bollocks' album in the same studio

Freddie and Sid bump into each other:

Sid Vicious: "Aren't you that Freddie Platinum what's bringing ballet to the masses?"

Freddie Mercury: "Ah, Mr Ferocious. Well, we're trying our best dear."
