Can't remember whether i've posted this one, but it gives me goosebumps anyway, so here it is again, if so.

Happy 73rd birthday to Mick Avory, drummer with the quintessentially English band The Kinks

The Nephilim is one of those rare albums, there just isn't a bad moment on it. An hour of bliss.

As silly as it sounds, I often regret not being a couple of years older than I am now, because I discovered Fields of the Nephilim just after they disbanded and so I never got to see them live. The current incarnation doesn't count.

I have seen them a few times before the flour and cowboy look. They are from my home town of Stevenage. I once saw them play in the middle of the day to a near empty hall at the local college supporting a friend's band.
