I checked out The Last Dinner Party the other day having just won Radio 1's Sound of 2024. I wasn't expecting much and was taken aback by how much i liked them.

Their influences are clearly Siouxsie and the Banshees and there's also Bowie in there, Kate Bush as well along with an indie sound that frequently breaks into rock guitar.

I genuinely find them quite exciting, so much so that i pre-ordered their debut album on the strength of these three songs.

The Last Dinner Party - Caesar on a TV Screen

The Last Dinner Party - My Lady of Mercy

The Last Dinner Party - Nothing Matters

Prelude To Ecstasy (Feb, 2nd, 2024)

I also love the 'slight return' part of the song and always think of Goodfellas whenever I hear it.
