I know there isn't much love for rap round these parts but I've been loving these these last couple of weeks.
Im a big fan of most hiphop, Necro is an awesome producer and nice to hear his name mentioned on these forums especially as hes sampled loads of 70s italian horror soundtrack stuff like fabio frizzi etc...
Watched Death walks at midnight the other night, which has a great soundtrack and I'm sure its been sampled by someone (maybe madlib?), its been bugging me - anyone know? (though doubt it as as mentioned theres not much love for hiphop here)

"Underground" hip-hop is awesome, Cage and Ill Bill are probably my favourites, though Edan, El-P, Aesop Rock and Non-Phixion are severe. Love ODB and the first Wu-Tang album as well.

I'm going to see Squarepusher live in a few weeks, so I'm currently having a bit of a 'Pusher binge. Awesome bass player, unreal.

I hate shit hop and (c)rap. I'd sooner sit in the dentist's chair than be subjected to that rubbish.

I like it, I was really into it during a pretty dark time in my life.
Stuff like Public Emeny, Big Daddy Mack / V(?) , ICP, Biggie, Tupac, etc.
Sucidal Tendacies / Biggie Smalls , is imho the best rap song ever.

It's at the Stiff Kitten on the Dublin Road. Squarepusher is actually just one fella called Tom Jenkinson, but for the European tour he's bringing along a drummer, who's ace. The music is ambient/electronica/drum and bass/jazz, but with real bass playing. Jenkinson is a great drummer as well. Check this Youtube link, it's Squarepusher rehearsing in his front room in preparation for the tour :

although this is what you could expect at the gig :
