Four Flies On Grey Velvet is possibly the best Argento/Morricone collaboration.

The 'Crime and Dissonance' Morricone compilation released by Ipecac (mike patton's record label) is awesome. Its 2 discs of Morricone's experimental/psychedelic/etc.... stuff from mainly giallo soundtracks. Not exactly an easy listen, but if you like this kinda stuff then this is highly recommended. Plus, if you play this bad boy loud you're bound to scare/confuse the hell out of any unsuspecting listeners.

Definitely Morricone = legend!

Likewise John Barry, the theme from the Ipcress File is one of my all time favourite pieces of music.

The Knack is possibly my fave Barry score, though it's a tough old choice. If you like Ipcress File check out his equally excellent Quiller Memorandum score.

Even in some of the lousiest films (King Kong, Alice's Adventures In Wonderland, Boom) JB's magic shines through.
