Not at all dude, your opinion is as good as anyone else's, mine included. For me, Mick Harris has done so much interesting work in the field of avant-rock and electronic music, that he casts a large shadow...

Exactly! He shouldn't be pigeon-holed into being just a metal drummer. He has done so much more besides.

Maybe there's indeed more to him than I'm able to see. Cheers, pals!

Ringo was one mean motherf*cker. When I started to play the drums about 15 years ago, I was like "Hey, that's easy. I can play that, too. Ringo Starr? Forget about him!"

Ringo was a drummer who was able to compensate his pretty limited techniques with his great groove.

Some examples of "This sounds so easy, yet it's unimitable and pretty damn groovy."

The Beatles without Ringo? Unthinkable (although they had another drummer at the beginning of their career, Pete Best).

Greetings!

I remember a story whore John Lennon was asked if Ringo Starr was one of the best drummers in the world and he replied something along the lines of "He isn't the best drummer in the Beatles'.

Anyway, no love for Phil Collins?!
