Great little chap, and a fantastic songwriter!

Greetings!
I think he's a better drummer than songwriter and, as for being a 'great little chap', he sent his wife divorce papers by fax from his yacht which he was sharing with his then girlfriend. Classy!

Roland from Big Black is the best drummer in the world.

Currently listening to the entirely drumless guitar music of James Blackshaw and his album The Cloud of Unknowing...

I was gonna go with Animal, but I thought Ringo would be funnier seeing as he's well known for being a poor drummer.

The actual best drummer in the world was the late great Buddy Rich, no contest really!

There's a brilliant bit of Ringo drumming on a Strawberry Fields Forever cut on Anthology 2... tune it around the 3 minute mark...

*Sigh*

To put this arguement to bed once and for all, everyone knows who Animal was based on, and because of this, I rest my case for Mooney!

As much as I love The Who, I've always thought Keith Moon was just a tad overrated, his playing was far too erratic for me, always preferred Bonzo, but it's only my opinion Suzi so please don't bar me from your pub!

Anyway, back on topic, couldn't sleep last night so I spent a couple of hours trying to find the most outrageous metal music on YouTube, plenty of Dimmu Borgir, Venom, Celtic Frost, Mayhem, Carcass etc. Eventually landed on early Sepultura, which I still need to upgrade from cassette!

N.B for those younger members who don't know what a cassette is, well here you go

I remember when I was a kid everyone had a copy of Reign In Blood because it fited perfectly onto one side of a C-60, and sometimes a C-60 was the only thing you had handy...
