That's brilliant, Nordy.

If i was going to recommend a purchase i'd say Port Royal (1988) or
Death or Glory (1989), but in all honesty, like so many German bands you could basically pick any and it would be good.

Been giving the latest Avatarium album some heavy rotation today.

A classy piece of doom rock with one of the best singers around in Jennie Ann-Smith. Just lay back in a darkened room and let it wash over you through the headphones.

I absolutely adore this song. It could be played during a retrospective end (A main character is killed) during the finale of a Sons of Anarchy episode. Must have listened to it eight times already.

Avatarium - Lay Me Down

The Fire i Long For (2019)

I like that musically but it would be better without Byford and his lyrics - It sounds like a shit Saxon song in that respect. "Spin the wheel, wheels of steel' - Give me a break.

Never even heard of the band Black Mamba either.
