A fine instant INXS collection for you there.

Just finished Kick. Really enjoyed it. Doesn't sound dated at all.

Guns in the Sky is a terrific opener.

I went out with a girl at college who loved the band and of course Michael Hutchence. It got me into them a bit. It also made me hate them when she dumped me.

It amuses me.

When the rest of the world is in a tizz trying to buy a Thing bluray, Justin and i are ordering second hand 80's pop/rock for a quid each.

Is it a good film?

I'm sorely tempted.

It looks pretty good from the trailer. Love the way the mole people come out of the ground.

And don't use the 'I like Al' routine with me. The Mole People looks like Ben Hur production value wise in comparison to an Adamson film.

Didn't you say you had the region one 'Classic sci-fi ultimate collection' the other day with the land unknown in it Dem?
If you have the combined vol 1 & 2 set then 'The mole men" should be on there.
I have the sets in individual vol 1 + vol 2 dvd sets and it's on vol 1.

I've only got volume 2 unfortunately. With already owning The Monolith Monsters i didn't bother with the first set due to it's silly price.

I watched The Mole men recently, i had always been intrigued by their images in film books i owned.
It was ok in a 50s sci- fi kind of way but it didn't live up to my expectations.
The creatures don't feature that heavily, instead we meet another race of men who treat them as slaves.
Still it's got a hokey introduction scene from some "scientist" guy in a suit that i found entertaining and also features Alfred (the butler) from the 60's Batman tv show as the head bad guy.
Actually thinking about it i probably would enjoy it more second time round without prior expectations.

I'm like that regarding movie expectations.
