Any body who wants to check out The Sisters of Mercy really should pick up this box set, its on Amazon at £10.99. Correct me if i'm wrong but i think its their entire album catalogue, at that bargain price. At least its all the ones i own anyway. Top stuff. |

They keep popping up as a recommendation on Amazon but this is the first time I've heard them. I quite like it but I'm not sure if I I'd buy it. I go through brief periods of listening to metal and tend to like the sludge/doom end of it or the more up front 70s occult style groups like Jex Thoth, Blood Ceremony and The Devil's Blood.

I just ordered the new one today. Have you got anything by Blood Ceremony? Pretty cool sound, Black Sabbath meets Jethro Tull with a female singer. Their first lp reeks of "The Blood on Satan's Claw".
