I was hooked on The Crow soundtrack for a good while. Which one do you have? The Score CD? Or the CD with all the songs on it? Shame about Brandon Lee, yet another terrible on-set movie accident. I hear that his sister is a bit of an action star these days, though I've never seen her in anything myself...

It's the song CD. some really great songs on it. Yeah Brandon, like his dad, died way too young.

Just gone back to the Mortal Kombat soundtrack, has got some great songs by Fear Factory, Type O Negative, Napalm Death and Orbital.

Depending on if you have the official or home made un-official soundtrack you can include 3 good tracks by Stabbing Westward as well.

Haven't really noticed anything special about the Halloween 3 soundtrack, will have to watch it again, and listen to it. I love anything by John Carpenter though, including Escape from New york. Maniac is a great choice, and so is Phantasm too. What is it about the Emmanuelle 2 soundtrack that you like then? I haven't seen this film by the way, but i have seen the original a few times...

You can't beat the original Halloween theme, but I found the Season of the Witch music far more thematic. The tracks are more atmospheric and more interesting than the overall Halloween 1 and 2 scores. Also, Carpenter and Howarth had honed their craft and got more out of their keyboard presets by this stage. The EFNY score is very basic in comparison but no less fun for it.

What do you think of Carpenter's collaboration with the late Shirley Walker on the Escape From LA score? Like the movie, I hated it on first hearing but grew to like it over time along with the movie.
