How bloody frustrating - these's an amazon.com 59% off sale on selected criterions today only (see blu-ray.com for list) - Rosemarys Baby, Brazil, In the Mood for Love included. I want Rashomon but it comes to 18 quid with postage - I checked and apparently these customs gits include the postage in the 15 quid allowance. How is this fair? I refuse to pay another penny in excise fines so I'II need to pass.

The customs threshold is £15 for the item – not the item and postage. But, if the item is over £15 then they charge you for the item plus postage.

So, if the BD works out at under £15, then you are/should be safe!

I must have misread the rules I'm sure it said postage + item not to exceed 15. Still nervous to try it even at a quid under as they've diddled me before and claiming it back is a Kafkaesque nightmare. Cheers for the reply BTW!

I think it's all on the Royal Mail website. They also have their own currency calculator which is set every month so you know how many dollars is the equivalent of £15 according to them.
