The 88 Films Thread

I haven't made up my mind about the american ninja films yet since the change

I had pre-ordered the box set for £17.99 as I only really like the first 1, found 2 to be very good, thought part 3 was passable and hated the fourth one but for the original price I figured it was worth it for the full set.

With recent developments I really cant justify paying out separately on the last 2 although I don't like missing any films from a full set so will have to see how I go.

I may end up just getting 1 & 2 a bit later on

Will also most likely be ordering Anthro as some point

Ordered Ninjas 1-4 (boxset) and Anthropophagous.

So its my understanding that Ninjas 1-4 are going to be available to buy from anywhere but if you want the boxset then it has to be direct from 88,

or,

you can wait and get the boxset from others on OCT 5th (according to my amazon pre-order) but by then it will have been repackaged/re-issued.

Yeah, I believe repackaged in October in 1 amaray with 3 discs.

And getting the boxset online from 88 is actually £7 cheaper than buying them separately.

Thats what i thought, and as a collector i will probably have to get the re-issue aswell so im not going to cancel my pre-order and see what happens.

Think i have it ordered at £16.65 (which is ridiculous) and i can see 88s thinking behind what they have done.

just checked my email and sure enough amazon have sent a new release date for this of 5th October and it still seems to be selling at the same price so it will be interesting to see what happens
