Does anybody else think they should make an update to the campaign, so they can let people know you are now guaranteed to get all four blus for £45. I bet they could make loads more if they made it obvious.

As a headline piece at the top of the page, that sounds like a good idea. However, with over £54,000 now raised by 1029 backers, is there much more money to be raised over the last the campaign's last eight days?

Absurd is the Word: A Cautionary Look at 88 Films' CrowdfunderZombie Hamster

Zombie Hamster on the campaign. Must say I completely agree with him about slipcovers. They can look nice, sure, but they're almost comically unnecessary.

Weird how they left the cert badge on the reversible cover but it's the wrong cert as well.

However I like the slip-cover with the black band across the top to match the box.

Ah, there is a reason for that. The reverse is basically mimicking the old UK vhs box art. Pity they didn't keep the old Colour Box logo on the front. That would've been even cooler.

Does anyone actually like The Imp?

Genuine question. I used to have the vhs and bought the 88 dvd release, it really is terrible though, and i usually quite enjoy 80's scream queen affairs.

Good article. I disagree with him saying not watching extras is like not reading the text in a book and only looking at the pictures.

It's like not reading the books acknowledgements that's all.

With the extra money 88 Films have, these releases should be proper bells and whistles discs with loads of supplementary material. I don't know how to contact them the best about making them as good as they can be and not barebones releases, but have sent them a tweet asking for exactly that. If you have contributed to the Indiegogo campaign, contact them on Twitter or Facebook asking for the additional money to be spent making the fall releases very special. Just look at what Severin were able to do with Zombie Holocaust without anywhere near those financial resources.
