That sounds positive.

Maybe the artwork is just a mock-up or perhaps what was X in 1969 is PG now

A slight bit of nudity probably could pass as PG now. They gave anything an X back in the day.

Perfect Friday which has a fair bit of Ursula Andress nudity is only rated 12 on the Network Blu-ray.

Do Tigon still own The Creeping Flesh in the UK? It would be a real coup for 88 if they could get a bells and whistles release of that one.

Also hope they re-release the bare bones Tigon's that Screenbound released - I'd definitely upgrade.

So far they've released or are about to release the contents of the old Tigon Anchor Bay coffin box set.

I doubt they'd come close to bettering Screenbound's releases of Virgin Witch and Haunted House of Horror also present in the coffin set.

Fist of legend is arguably jets li's best film (once upon a time in China for me).

Hannie caulder is for me tigons best work.

I'm sorry but I really hated body stealers. It was just.....terrible.

It features the Dalek saucer from Dalek Invasion of Earth 2150AD so can't be all bad.

I don't mind it to be honest. I've owned the Odeon dvd for years and would happily upgrade it to Blu.

As for Tigon's best film? A toss up between Witchfinder General and Blood on Satan's Claw. Both are 9/10 films for me.

I also really rate Neither the Sea Nor the Sand, The Creeping Flesh and The Blood Beast Terror.

No preorder for The Body Stealers bluray on Amazon? Just the DVD.

I don't really rate The Body Stealers too highly either, but to be honest, there are worse ways to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon...

Back in the 70's it seemed like this film was on telly every Saturday afternoon!

I watched it a lot with my mum!!

I read somewhere that The Creeping Flesh, although a Tigon production, won't get a UK release for the same reasons that the films from the Tyburn libary won't be given UK releases. I believe that such issues have no bearing at all in territories outside the UK, which explains why Mill Creek released The Creeping Flesh on Blu-ray along with another couple of films on the same disc a few years ago.

If I recall director Freddie Francis's son is in some way responsible for rights issues regarding The Creeping Flesh here in the UK
