Who knows?

Don't forget that Arrow announced both 'The Incredible Melting Man' and 'The Burning' on April 1st, and most people initially thought that was an April Fool joke

Maybe 88Films DO have some kind of announcement for 'The Slayer'

Last I heard Code Red had international rights which makes half of the joke about them working with Code Red to put it out

If you're not gonna make the effort to put it out in multiple countries, or at least just ****ing ship internationally, then yes definitely.

Apparently Criterion have the rights to some films for US, UK, and Australia, but we are yet to see any indication of them releasing in Australia, which sucks because now no one else can put out those fims

Both artificial eye and criterion will have releases of solaris out in the uk soon. I'm not sure I'm a big enough fan to double dip though.

My understanding with film rights is that the people who sell the rights to distributors are usually keen to break up the rights into territories. Selling the rights to a film once seems daft. Especially when some European firms will just bootleg them anyway.

Selling the rights to a man who releases limited quantities in a single territory and doesn't shit internationally is the most daft!!

Seriously, these companies must either give 0 shits about the films and just want quick money, or Bill somehow is pulling serious money from god knows where

"#weekendannouncement3

In 1990 LUTHER THE GEEK - an independent, gross-out slasher instant-classic - was released and took the genre magazines and fan world by storm. Hyped by the likes of FANGORIA, this little unassuming stalk and slash slice of genius has since created a cult legend. Spinning the story of an ex-lunatic asylum patient who is unwisely unleashed into the outside world, only to entrap, tie-up, torment and tear-up his victims, LUTHER THE GEEK has never been released in the UK - likely for fear of a censor backlash! However, 88 Films were quick to get on the case and now, finally, British fans can see LUTHER THE GEEK in all of its bloodstained, throat-tearing, sanguine-splashed BluRay brilliance!"
