According to John Martin in an article on the availability of the DPP 39 on DVD and Blu-ray in the latest issue of Dark Side magazine, Arrow have released an uncut Blu-ray of Evilspeak. Is there something we should know, or is this just a mistake on his part?

Also, according to John Martin, there's rumours of a BBFC resubmission for Joe D'Amato's Absurd and Anthropophagous the Beast. It would be great to see these two get uncut UK releases after all these years.

I'm also looking forward to Grindhouse Releasing's Blu-ray release of Cannibal Ferox, which is mentioned in DS too. Bring it on!

I'm thinking you could be right!

That would be a cool, but a bit of a shame as there are a lot better films that could be released from Italy. I watched the first, and while it had its good moments, it was slow and boring for the most part.

Perhaps the worst article on the Nasties I've ever read and coming from the chap who wrote Seduction of the Gullible that is either unforgivable or just sloppy and unprofessional. There are so many mistakes and omissions it looks like he slapped it together in an afternoon. You will find much more accurate information on here. For shame!!

I agree, Boo. It was a very sloppy article for someone as talented as John Martin. Perhaps he was asked to do it in a hurry.

True, tis not the most exciting film, but me and many others have waited for years for a decent release of Absurd...any excuse to hear Goblin cough....

I'd take a double bill of Absurd and Anthropophagus. Italian trash at it's best.
