So i reached the fifty quid voucher amount on 20th december, didnt convert it yet as waiting for loads of stuff i wanted o come t. This is madness, also have 2 pre orders ith £5 deposit each.

I wonder if this explains why they've got the best boxing day sale they've had for years. Sad, HMV is so much better than they used to be, prices being so much more reasonable with their permanent 3 for 20/5 for 30 offer running. And yet people would still rather stream it seems.

I spent my points and gift cards today.

If you can, go into a store and ask. I'd forgotten how to redeem the points and someone in the store gave me advice. Unfortunately, it didn't work because the website was sending me in circles, but he called the IT support and got me sorted there and then.

This was a couple of weeks ago when there were only a dozen people in the store and no boxing day/closing down sale, but it can't hurt to ask.

Going to try my luck tomorrow, the staff are pretty great in my hmv & its not their fault they've gone bust!

This is surely a big nail in the coffin of physical media, they interviewd a few people on the news & it was basically Netflix, Spotify, "I don't buy anything", "I like films but I don't want to own them".....

Yep, Very few people like us left...

On a side note, will the Premium titles go up in price as they were hmv exclusives? Their Hunger Games steelbook is worth about £2 so not always good, lol!
