Didn't the German BD release have scenes that lasted a bit longer than normal? I will admit it's not a perfect movie but I do like the Tangerine Dream score

StudioCanal UK are re-releasing 'Near Dark' in what appears to be a carbon copy of the old Optimum disc. Disappointing - as I had hoped a new remaster was on the way instead of this bare bones rehash from 2009.

The disappointments are really piling up today... sheesh... depressing!

EDIT: When you click the link and scroll down it says that is the 2009 release. Is there a 2022 release somewhere else?

Looks like it’s been stealth dropped into the old release page. If you look at the bottom of the back cover it states “2022 STUDIOCANAL LIMITED" and includes the most recent style of BBFC certificate.

There’s no Preorder on this either but interestingly enough it won’t be delivered until August according to Amazon.
