I used to be a big fan of Vipco back in the pre-cert days when they released stuff like Zombie Flesh-Eaters, Death Trap, Driller Killer, Shogun Assassin, The Deadly Spawn, etc, to rental video.I was even duped into buying the cut cinema version of ZFE (believing it to be fully uncut) when the newly resurrected Vipco re-released it to sell-thru video back in the 90's.I also bought the Vipco video's of The Beyond & City of the Living Dead when they released them fully uncut for the first time in the UK, which I thank them for.But these new Beyond Terror releases look awful, they look as if they are only interested in duping horror fans to part with their hard earned for shoddy DVD's which have had no effort at all put into them.I'd avoid them like the plague and stick with labels like Arrow who truly care about the films they release and also care about the fans.

Agree, vipco was great back in the day for bringing some then rare titles to uk buyers.

The sad fact is they didn't care enough to
put quality over quantity and false statements like ''digitally remastered'' and on titles like HOTEOTP ''uncut version'' did neither them or us favours.Ironically one of their genuinely uncut titles vault of horror in it's inferior print remains the only uncut uk edition to my knowledge.

With next weeks uk release of tales from the crypt, hopefully a new remastered vault will follow.

As for beyond terror the artwork is disgusting the back cover looks like a pirate copy you would buy from Del Boy on Hooky street. The fact they are using the old St discs is lazy, the release has all the dedication and love of an Anaconda for a Rat.

I mainly stayed well clear of the Vipco titles. I think I've got Zombi 3, The Last Hunter and Zombie Creeping Flesh.

The limited edition Vipco boxset just went on ebay for £24.00, i thought it'd be worth more than that!?
Having passed on it years ago at MVC i managed to buy one last year for £30 & i was well chuffed.

I went through a phase of trying to collect all the Vault releases with their wicked covers.

Still quite a few i never managed to track down.

I managed to get all the Vault releases including the 2 boxsets. Took me ages to do it though.

did you ever take a photo of your full collection Loops? There's too many pages to look through in the collections thread to be sure, lol.

Two boxsets? The other being the 'Houses' one?

Yeah, I did take a pic but it wasn't very good. I'll take another one and post it up later.

The other box is The House of Doom (should be called House of Boredom!)
