So basically all limited or soon to be oop cult titles are targeted by them, not just CR.

CR has a relatively big fan base (also in the UK and Europe) for such a small (but important imho) player on the US dvd market.
True to an extent but I think his fan base has only gone up because everyone knows they'll be OOP soon. After all, wasn't he constantly moaning about how low his sales were?

Sales were (very) low on many titles and I hope selling direct can enable CR to survive.
As these new very limited pressings are specifically targeted at the label's fan base and not casual buyers.

I WAS tempted, but goddammit I sat and watched the movie and REALLY enjoyed it. It's pretty much drive-in rather than out and out grindhouse, but at the end of the day its an early slasher (1974 so pre-dates halloween by quite a while) and its an awful lot of fun. I could care less about a few dialogue scenes missing as well! So sad about Gloria was a little weak ( I guessed all the twists easily) but interesting enough and it made a great 2nd feature.

I've become something of a naschy afficianado in recent years, not something I thought i'd say a few years back.
