If you opt for insurance, remember the cost you mark on the customs declaration form factors how much insurance you need to pay. I personally only went for insurance for loss, but I'm considering not bothering after having a few packages sent from them with no bother. It cost me $7.90 reshipping (including insurance - I marked the item value at $8.99) for just the one title. Including the Cartel's costs ($24.95 + $5 shipping) it worked out at £26, but that's partly because the exchange rate is poor at the moment. It costs me just shy of £50 for two titles from SAE, so it's pretty comparable. Not sure how Diabolik's shipping rates compare to SAE though, I haven't used them in a while.

I'm personally glad I went direct, with them going up on a Monday on Diabolik I would have missed them.
Thanks for the info BAKA.

Diabolik worked out at just under £22.60 per title (ordering 5 titles and using combined shipping, plus Love Butcher being priced at the higher price of $28.99) so pretty comparable really. Diabolik do use 1st class international tracked mail though.

It works out cheaper, per title, the more you combine in an order. For the Spanish bundle & The Love Butcher I paid $13.14 on shipping, which is less than double the cost to ship Weekend Murders alone for me. But the more you order the more you need to pay for the Cartel's shipping too. There wasn't anything else I wanted at the time of Weekend Murders release. I have my eye on a few DVDs now though. I'll wait and see where he puts the slew of new BD titles he's expecting though, SAE or the Cartel before I pick anything else up.

I tried shipito as well but the Big Cartel wouldn't recognize my credit card for some reason and if I paid by Paypal then it shows my default address in the UK. I then looked at shipito's assisted buying option but got a bit confused by their set up. (Easily done...!)
Finally I got a friend in Canada to buy the films from Bill's store and he will post them to me. He also said he's happy to do this all the time, so this will now be the easiest way for me.
Jeez, all for a couple of films, so much for one click ordering!!

HD TELECINE is happening for SLAUGHTERHOUSE ROCK as the lost 35mm Camera Negatives is found and is used! (even though most kids of the web thinks it's beat-up print). The main Question is shall I release it ASAP or shall I wait to do some extra? extra always delay all release and in the end nobody talks about extras

Also, anyone on the fence about buying CR's Trick 'r Treats from SAE, Bill has mentioned that there are only about 200 copies remaining and he will not be re-pressing this title so when they're gone they're gone.

The six new releases from Code Red are now available to order from Diabolik dvd.

The 3 new releases in stock are Mean Johnny Barrows. Death Journey and The Black gestapo.

The 3 available for pre-order are The Forest, Devil Time Five and Truck Stop Women.

I have most of the releases already on dvd so will not be ordering any this time.
