The Dead Pit : 2 Disc Edition (Best Buy exclusive but later sold on Amazon)

The second disc features a number of behind the scenes shorts and a still gallery (amongst other features).

The zombie has blood on his head on the cover of this edition.
This can still be picked up from Amazon (and Amazon sellers) for a very decent price at the moment.

I have a growing collection of CODE RED titles & was lucky to pick up LIGHTBLAST,PRIMAL RAGE & EXTERMINATORS OF THE YEAR 3000 before they went OOP.
My favourites:
MESSIAH OF EVIL (A Creepy & underrated gem)
NIGHTMARE
RITUALS
THE REDEEMER
THE UNSEEN (Nice 2-disc release of this quite reasonable film)
SOLE SURVIVOR
MEAN JOHNNY BARROWS
BTW,can anyone tell me if the version of GETTING EVEN on the double bill with GOD'S BLOODY ACRE (TOMCATS) is uncut ?.I owned the Temple precert which was intact & started with a particularly graphic & unpleasant rape scene.I gather understandably the 'R' version was cut.

Nice titles you have there Mark!

Seems Tomcats aka Getting Even is uncut (I watched this recently btw):

"...we instead decided to release the film with another Wayne Crawford/Andrew Lane film, TOMCATS, in the hopes it would sell more units. The negative and 35mm print were lost on TOMCATS, but Wayne had the "longer version" on a 3/4 inch tape master before the distributor edited the film to get an "R" rating." (Code Red)

.I'm surprised this slipped under the radar as the rapes were every bit as nasty as the ones in 'I Spit On Your Grave'.I have a few of the 'weirder' titles too including THE CARRIER & THE STRANGENESS.I can't recommend CR highly enough,despite the flack they get for slipped release dates & the quality of some releases.Hell no one else is bothering with half of these gems & we should be thankful they're available on dvd at all.
