Reply from CR regarding SHADOW OF CHIKARA.:-

"Hi mark,

Paramount owns that film. I do see that UK dvd here in America since it's all region. Can't understand these stores having import when you can get the film off MillCreek 20 pack. anyway, paramount do not deal with small company, I'm afraid.

Glad you enjoy RITUALS and NIGHTMARE. Nighmare was a unfinished disc. (:

codereddvd"
We'll never see that if Paramount have it unless OLIVE FILMs give it a release.

When I first tried to get NIGHTMARE it was on order so they should get more stock.Glad to see the CR titles are doing so well for the company.

How does the Whip And The Body compare to the - much cheaper! - VCI release?

I have a suspicion the first pressing has (almost) sold out...the second one will have a slightly different cover.

The reason these Midnight Choir releases are no longer available is because they were "grey market/boot" releases.
They took the transfers from European releases it seems.
In that case Whip should come from the EMS which looks better than the VCI.

Here's some original Blade artwork, not a martial arts film btw.

Ring Of Death

Coming in September are the first "Maria" titles and Wild Malibu Weekend:

Mardi Gras and Haunted should have reversable covers (unconfirmed).

"Maria Kanellis has done it all. Wrestling, modeling, writing... but now, she tackles a new and far more deadly task - hosting B movies!"

There are no interruptions btw and the "Maria segments" can be skipped if desired.
