It seems common sense to me to keep re-printing until sales drop off. Just make a few alterations to sleeve art or something to make the collectors who must own first printings happy. Then everyone can be happy.

also heres hoping for a lightblast and exterminators of the year 3000 reprints!

Now that would probably make me feel quite foolish for spending (roughly) $30 a piece on those last two!

Keep in mind not everything will be repressed, only selected titles.
Also CR no longer seems to hold the rights of some of the old titles.

From what I recall, the original pressing of Ghostkeeper was something like $15.99 or $17.99 but it is $19,99... Why is that?

Almost all companies lower or keep the same price of an original repressing... I donĀ“t know the numbers, but and actual repressing means the original pressing sold and the movie recoup, so the actual recoup of a repressing will just serve to gain the factory costs.

I think it was 17.99...second is more expensive to encourage people to get the first pressing in future I guess?

Most labels don't press 500.

The first incorrect move by Code Red was to sell directly... I have all their released up to that point as I refuse to pay the amount they ask nowadays.

And now the increase the price of second pressings???

In fairness to Code Red, without a distributor it doesn't leave a lot of choice.

Also, it seems to be working out for him overall so it's not really a mistake is it? He sells quicker and makes more money. Fair play to him.

I thought Bdc said they had sorted a distributor out.
